International call for papers: clownin 2010, end of call: April 2nd 2012
clownin 2012, international women’s clown festival, Nov. 30th - Dec. 8th 2012. Coproduction by theater super.nova and KosmosTheater
2012 the biennial Austrian women’s clown festival will take place for the fourth time at KosmosTheater Vienna. Following the big success of the previous festivals we want to visualise the diversity of the genre again, deepen networking and promote the international exchange between the artists.
On nine festival days we will show plays of Austrian and international women clowns and also want to provide a theoretical discourse with international platforms and workshops.
International call for papers clownin 2012:
We are looking for shows only or mainly played by women clowns for an adult audience, shows for children or only acrobatic presentations are not accepted. We will choose about 12 evening shows and several short numbers (Opening and Cabaret-Program).
