theater super.nova


Off-theatre theater super.nova was founded in 2001 by Pamela Schartner and Gaby Pfluegl.
The objective of theater super.nova is to spread critical and enjoyable theatre and drama, predominantly based on gender issues and to contribute to the advancement of women in art and theatre.

theater super.nova has been presenting the international women's clown festival clownin since 2006 in co-production with KosmosTheater.

GABY PFLÜGL
born in 1969 in Bregenz

Studied theater, film and media, specialising in philosophy, art history, and German literature, University of Vienna

M.A. in Philosophy, 1995
Title of the thesis: The conducted suffering. The masochistic universe in the film “India Song” by Marguerite Duras

Roles at Vienna’s “Theater Brett” since 1995 have been assistant director, dramatic advisor, head of artistic operations office, lighting designer, technician expert, dramatic concept of the three-year focus on "Literature from Bohemia and Moravia”, as well as press and public relations, sponsorship, guest and tour support, editorial concept of the "Theater Brett Nachrichten" and the program booklets


In 1997 she was the assistant director and stage manager at the “Theater der Jugend”, Vienna

Stage direction of the folk music festival "Autumn Star Parade" in Festival and Congress Center in Bregenz 1995 and 1996, and in the Theater am Kornmarkt in Bregenz, Austria in 1997 and 1998

Since 1998 she has been a freelance lighting designer, assistant director, dramatic advisor, technician for off-theater groups, conducted various tours in Austria, Switzerland, Finland and Italy

2002 Director of "Atlantic Man" by Marguerite Duras, dietheater Konzerthaus, Vienna
